Joseph will start Kindergarten In Septemeber. He went to Pre K (well still going til June 13th then he graduates) I do understand how you feel and i do know alot of moms who never took their child to Pre K and has gone straight to kindergarten. At first it may be hard she may be scared, she may not want you to leave and be scared BUT that will all pass. She will get used to going enjoy being there and especially excited that she has friends! When Joseph 1st started Pre K i thought oh my god hes going to be so scared when i leave cause i stayed home his 1st 4 years and he was a mommy's boy! But he LOVED it and LOVES it to this day and now cant wait to go to the BIG school with his brother Freddy. I think you may be worrying for nothing. Until school starts show her yourself what to expect. Sit her down at her "desk" Tell her what to expect tell her how many friends shes going to make and how many friends she will have to play with Trust me she will be OK. The only one who wont be ok is you, LOL sorry but mommy will be sad that her BIG girl is leaving her but after a while YOU will be ok, Peace and Quiet, LOL GOOD LUCK you can always email me if you want to talk! sskamang@aol.com
