Subject: Update on Baby Brody (Tatum's new brother)- Friday he was sedated because of his troubled breathing and also given morphine for pain and meds for low blood pressure. They also intebated him and he was on 100% oxygen. Saturday they decided to send him to Cooks Childrens, where he was in the Critical Care NICU. By Sunday morning they were able to take him off the meds and only had to give him 24% oxygen. (After 24 stable hrs of 21% they can take the ventilator out and his mom will be able to hold him and feed him for the first time. He was also taken off all his meds and is no longer being sedated. He does have an infection in his lungs and that is being cultured, we should know something by today so they can start the appropriate treatment and probably Tues they will be able to move him to regular NICU. They are hoping to send him home within 2 weeks. Thank you for all your prayers as this is a scary time.
