BENEFIT FOR PALESTINIAN CHILDREN
Riverside Community Centre, Brunel Street , Riverside , Cardiff CF11 6ES

Ł4 waged (Ł3 unwaged)

On Monday, 23 October Palestine Solidarity Campaign Cymru and
Palestine Society of Wales are hosting a benefit gig to raise money
for El_Nasser Hospital, the main Children's Hospital in Gaza ,
currently suffering an acute shortage of drugs due to the Israeli
blockade.

The event marks the festival of Eid el Fitr, the end of Ramadan. The
brilliant, Bristol-based Bizarre Gift will provide a fantastic
eclectic musical mix, ranging from classical to funk, world music and
jazz. There will also be the opportunity to learn Dabke, the
Palestinian Folk dance. Delicious Palestinian snacks will be
available for a small sum

Bottles of the famous Zaytoon Palestinian olive oil - both fair trade
and organic - will be on sale.

Enjoy Palestinian hospitality while providing urgently needed aid.

Any offers of help in organizing and advertising the event gratefully
received
