Hay muchas maneras para que unas extensiones se vean bien. Lo que pasa es que eso necesita mucho cuidado y es preferible que no se moje ( me han dicho)... Greece seems absolutely inexperienced. Weird and messy hair, you have to try and see through her hairdo if there is a beautiful face, actually if there is any face at all. Her skin looks really tired and the make up is awful. Viviana is a "human" i guess, a real girl beneath tones of make up, kitsch attitude and clothes. Her walk is of course funny to watch. No energy, no rythm,she wears an impression as if she has lost something. Particularly, she cannot control her hands. Her legs are weird looking at and her waist is huge!
Mauritius: The swimsuit presentation will make the judges think she must have sneaked into the group of miss universe contestants as an agent maybe, or that she is representative of Julia's org at mu in an attempt to indicate the decay of the mu show. One single advice honey. Avoid laughing. You can scare every single judge of!
Cyprus : The girl who spreads her legs all the time. A train might pass through her legs. I assume you could play a major part in the opening number. All the other delegates passing through your legs.
What about miss Turkey? Even if she is great to watch ( those eyes...), her catwalk ruins her chances to place among the top 40. Plus, stop threatening us while walking, fashion police are not here and in fact we are not going to crown miss vampire universe.
Ukraine : If she places, it is completely fixed. Aleksandra should have taken into account how disproportionate her face looks. Her face is superimposed or something, her big big curly hair follow the wind, but if the wind is rough, she gives the impressions of taking off- directly to Ukraine i guess.
As for the favorites and the gossips on european winners.
The bikini contest evidently made it clear it will be impossible for Europeans to overcome the latina vavavoom hurdle!
Venezuela will score higher than 9.700 in swimsuits,since her catwalk is described as the best we've seen in years.
Dominican Rep/Mexico : They are profs. They know how to put the stage on fire. Fierce victoria show's models, but isn't true that the duration of training lasted at least 6 months?
Puerto Rico is a diva on stage. The woman is flying, gliding, has amazing headturns. That will become an asset not only as regards the swimsuit competition but the gowns as well.
Czech is great, a beauty queen. But she has not the same energy as PR or DR.

EMIRI AT THE SWIMSUIT FASHION SHOW YESTERDAY. Stunning!
And at the reception gala dinner wearing my favorite Versace gown of this season, with a Loewe clutch bag. people at the dinner commented that she was one of the biggest standouts of the evening.Emiri told me today, when I woke her up at 7:30 am before her breakfast time, that she is spending time right now mostly with Miss France, also Miss Switzerland, Bahamas and Miss Hungary. She says that she is the funniest girl and a good person. BUT she says that the security is very tight and that they don’t get to meet many of the delegates. Emiri is on the 10th floor and half of the girls are on the 9th and half on the 10th also Emiri hasn’t had a chance to spend time with some delegates and get to meet them. I asked her if she met all the Asian delegates but she said she has not yet met Miss Philippines and Miss Guam.
She said that many of the girls are on a very tight schedule and have no time for talking pictures because they are asked to run from place to place. Emiri says that she handles herextremelyfull schedule with excitement that she is having a great time, her room is huge and with ocean view and she said that she is very lucky to have the best roomate as she is always in a good mood and so genuine and with a big heart.
She said that during the fashion show yesterday, none of the girls could see the others on stage as it was very fast moving and the 84 girls were on stage without cameras backstage for the others to see it. That everyone comments among the crew that this year has the most beautiful delegates ever.and now to open my mind to you with honesty… Emiri said: “Ines, I want you to know that it will be very difficult for me to win this year, there are so many amazing women here but I am doing my best and enjoying every moment as I am deeply proud to be wearing the Japan sash.”.
I told Emiri, it does not matter if she wins, what matters is that she is doing her best and that I know well that this is exactly what she is doing right now. What is important is that Japanese women can be represented at a prestigious and world famous competition like Miss Universe being in thespotlight. In the past Japanese women moved away from the spotlight and lost confidence in their power, they tended to think that western beauty was superior to theirs. When I arrived in Japan,advertisingcampaigns were always featuring a caucasian woman and Japanese talent were paid half the fee compared to white women. I felt that this was wrong. Japanese women after the previous success have gained confidence and now they know that they are considered uniquely beautiful in the eyes of the world and that is what matters to me from now on, because it is the reason I have being doing this job for the past 12 years. I told Emiri to keep her beautiful energy and the sweetness that make her who she is, this is the best way for her to reflect who Japanese women are.
As I write, Emiri is getting ready to go for the pre-taping of the National Costume segment for the live telecast. We spoke about her costume and the way that she will wear it at the end. I will give more detailks when the pictures appear on the Miss Universe website.

-Las candidatas escogidas para las apariciones en Telemundo tuvieron una sesion especial de fotos este sábado. Viajarán a Miami domingo a las 8 de la mañana y regresarán a las 2 de la tarde, para grabar varios segmentos que podrán ser vistos a lo largo de la semana en los diversos programas matutinos. A este grupo se le agregó Miss Nicaragua a última hora.

No se si alguien ha notado el cambio en las fotos de Albania, pues la foto de evening gown que sale en el site de MU es diferente a la foto que salio inicialmente, para comprobarlo basta con darse cuenta k en la foto del close up sale con las pulseras k llevaba en la primera foto, es decir k a esta chica le hicieron fotos de evening gown con 2 vestidos diferentes, favoritismo???
Sin duda alguna, pues segun me he enterado Fadil Berisha es albano y el mismo hizo una lista de las 15 mejores fotos de las chicas en traje de baño (no un top) y oh sorpresa, el considera k la foto de miss Albania es la mejor!!
Ya entiendo la chapuceria k le estan haciendo a Ada con las fotos, a pesar de tener excelentes fotos de close up y de evening gown, las seleccionadas para publicar en su perfil, no son precisamente las mejores, y tambien entiendo pork Albania en sus fotos oficiales (solo en las oficiales) sale REGIA, mientras k en otras sale horrible. Soy fanatica de los concursos de bellezas desde el 88 con Patricia y tengo desde antes de Amelia ganar el MU participando en estos foros. He visto y se sigue viendo de TODO. Quizas hasta peor se ha puesto. Pero lo que no se debe de perder de vista es que tenemos que tener cierto trato con los demas. Por el simple hecho de que alguien no vea las cosas igual que uno no debe ser oportunidad para uno atacar a la otra persona y mas si es un compatriota. El que uno diga “no me gusta, no se parece a ella, el maquillaje esta pesimo, el pelo no esta bien arreglado, debe mejorar esto, lo otro” no es para que vengan con ataques de que uno es de poca fe, negativos, que hablamos porqueria o mejor aun PLEPLA, que estamos poniendo a nuestra candidata por el piso, que uno le esta buscando cien mil defectos, que no somos fans verdaderos… y que nos comamos nuestras palabras con sal y mucha pimienta para que nos pique la lengua!!! Por Dios!!! No se como es que equivale uno comentar o sugerir algo a que uno no respalde a su candidata, a que uno no es fan verdadero. Creo que somos TODOS los Dominicanos (quizas con excepcion de algunas perdedoras del MRDU) que somos fans acerrimos de Ada como de ninguna otra Miss desde Amelia. Ada ha despertado y sigue despertando muchos sentimientos lindos y mucho apoyo no solo por su belleza y perseverancia, tambien por su forma de ser tan humilde. Creo que muchos sino todos sabemos que ella es el reflejo de lo bello que se encuentra en la gente de nuestro pueblo.
Y si CATH – Yo se muy bien que tu apoyo por Larimar te hizo blanco de ataques de muchos aquí y nunca estuve de acuerdo de que le llamaran o pusieran sobrenombres ya que es un ser humano que merece respeto por el simple hecho de serlo, tiene sentimientos, y es nuestra compatriota. Vimos lo mismo con Massiel y Mia. Si, Ada es de lujo, claro que si. Por el simple hecho de que su primera foto no fue la mejor no quiere decir que ya se le descarto. Claro que vamos a esperar mejores fotos – que se sabe de antemano que vendran. Pero creo que comentarios o sugerencias, no insultos ni bajezas, que se puedan hacer no estarian de mas y yo particularmente como Manager me va gustar oir todas las trompetas para sopesar absolutamente todos los angulos. Es parte de una buena estrategia, no pensar que uno se las sabe todas ni dormirse en los laureles especialmente en una competencia como el MU. Creo que Ada es lo suficientemente madura, adulta, e inteligente para saber distinguir lo que son las criticas ofensivas y las constructivas. Ella sabra a estas alturas que el haberse metido en este mundo ella va a encontrarse con esto y tendria que saber como tomar y dejar para que no le afecte su performance.
Como dice DANNY, si Ada o la candidata o tenedor/a de franquicia, de turno entra y lee que TODOO ES BELLO entonces puede de que no se haga un esfuerzo de mejorar o cambiar algo que quizas le de un”edge” a la candidata. Muestra de eso lo vimos con Zuleyka con el traje/peinado para desfile en traje de gala (Osmel tambien haces sus modificaciones si son necesarias) y estamos viendo lo mismo con JAPON este año, donde Ines Ligron supuestamente cambio el traje de fantasia por tanto “backlash” que recibio el famoso Geisha/Playboy Bunny outfit. Tambien lo vimos con Taliana – que tal si desde un principio nadie en Colombia le hubiera dado rejo como dicen alla de cómo lucia Taly? Hubiera llegado como llego con ese cuerpo tan fit? Lo dudo, y hasta en Colombia en su gran mayoria dicen lo mismo.
CATH – si, los PR en su grandisima mayoria son fanaticos a rabiar por sus candidatas, son sumamente nacionalistas, pero de nuevo como dice DANNY, eso no debe de quitar conocimiento y nosotros no tenemos que ser igual de llegar a ser irracionales. Las cosas que se pueden mejorar o descartar se deben de decir, claro siempre con respeto, con altura. Yo siempre apoyare a la Dominicana sea quien sea, pero no dire algo cuando no lo siento por el simple hecho de estar con la voz populi.
Se que esto de MU saca a relucir muchos sentimientos y fanatismos, pero no por ellos tenemos que perder el respeto y tratar de subestimar a los demas por sus opiniones con comentarios despectivos. Por ultimo, soy SUPER nacionalista aunque naci y me crie en EU. Tengo demasiado amor por la patria de mis padres, tanto que muchos ni creen que naci fuera de RD. El montaje que menos sentido tiene. A la que menos le cabe eso de un tubi es a Michelle. Tiene un pelo precioso, divino. Creo que Michelle es de armas tomar. Se ha lucido esplendidamente en todo momento, aunque no me ha gustado ese peinado que ha usado en el desfile de traje de baño. Como siempre las Colombianas luciendose con el vestuario.
