WHY? TF -- I think it might have to do with the sound of 'ka-ching' until one of these 'good roles' comes along. But, of course, the more 'stinkers' one is in, the less likely of a decent role. OTOH -- let's think positively, and maybe this role will end up being quirky and funny as a sort of caricature of him cast against his hero-type.
