Subject: Cece, please see my thread below. Buried in the middle of it, I answered my own question about "The Guard." It is filming right now also, and I got confirmation that DJE is back filming there also. That means to me that he will need to get from Victoria to Squamish and back at some point. And going through Vancouver to do it, right?

If you take the ferry from Sydney (near Victoria,) you end up in Twawwassen, and drive into Vancouver. Then you'd drive from Vancouver, across the bridge to West Van (where I live) and then drive past Horseshoe Bay (where I took you), and Squamish is another 45 minutes.

Or you could drive from Victoria, 90 KM North to Nanaimo, then take the ferry from Nanaimo to Horseshoe Bay.

Meanwhile, actors who are filming in Squamish, often stay in Vancouver. We've also got the actors from Men in Trees, filming in Squamish, though it's supposed to be Alaska. As you know, nothing is really easy to get to around here, because everywhere there are mountains, lakes, sea, rivers, and cliffs.
