Subject: He was definitely great eye candy in "Love Sick", but beyond that, I thought it was a shallow role for him. Showed he still has a great physique, but IMO didn't showcase at all the depth of his acting ability.

IMO, I chose to look at "Rick" as one who was so addicted that he was looking for the thrill of the affair/sex not for a relationship. H/E on some level he was concerned with his marriage and was afraid that it would be messed up when his girlfriend showed up. In a way I guess you could say that the acting was very good because he made us believe that "Rick" was a shallow empty person. Not at all like we are used to.
