Subject: I think thats as close as we'll get to Ausiello backing off from saying the show was all but cancelled, a few months ago. He still cant bring himself to say it has a good chance...in spite of all the facts. The ratings (above #30 in the last 3 or 4 eps) and winning its time slot consistently. Keep your fingers crossed SeaBeth, we may get a third season yet.

In the Magazine Section of today's PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER,
the Neilsen Prime-Time Ratings for April 2-8 list Close to Home as tied for 20th place with The Bachelor and CSI:NY.
Top 20, folks, with 12 million viewers. What more does CBS want?

[> [> [> USATODAY has their annual "Save My Show" campaign, that lists the different categories for shows on each of the networks. Renewed or Almost, On The Bubble, and Gone or Nearly Dead. Close To Home is listed in the Gone/Nearly Dead category....The link to vote/view is http://www.usatoday.com/life/television/news/2007-04-11-sos-main-story_N.htm -- FYI, 18:19:59 04/12/07 Thu [1]
