Subject: One of the things that I loved about Harm was that while he had this larger-than-life hero persona, DJE always gave him a human edge. He showed his weaknesses, his vulnerabilities, his flaws. I think that's what actors live for, and I'm sure he's having fun doing that in this new role, too. ITA with mj -- this might be a risk, but risks are good and necessary for actors' careers.

Also, from the little I read about DJE (which is mostly from this board as he is never in the tabloids -- which I also like -- and he seems to like keeping his private life sacred -- which I like), he seems to be such a nice and honorable man, too. I'm afraid to say that's why I'm also drawn to him as a fan. My cousin, who met him, corroborated that he is STUNNING , in person, but she said he was so well-mannered and very nice. Now, what's also weird, for me, is that my sisters and friends are hysterical about my 'jag' with JAG and Harm and DJE because they think my husband looks like him!! I asked my cousin and she said she thought so, too! I think my husband is handsome and I can see the resemblance now that it's been pointed out to me. My hubby is 6'2", though. Another weird thing, my cousin who met DJE -- her husband was a naval commander who was an aviator!!! He now flies commercial. He's also gorgeous!! Life IS stranger than fiction. I still love your fanfics, though -- can't wait to read the rest of your present story and more!!!!! LOL
