Subject: Well, mj, I volunteer to teach you Italian, if you'll try to teach me English, but I have a piece of advice for you: I'm a bad case, a desperate one, I guess. Others attempted to teach me and they concluded I have no attitude, not at all. :D
In reply to: mj 's message, "Wow, gigi, thanks for all that!!! Your English is fantastic, btw -- I want so badly to learn Italian! ITA that DJE playing this role, mj or not, is more than ok. I want him SO BAD to show the world that he's not just another pretty face, but a charismatic and admired actor , like Jimmy Stewart, who we can ALL get addicted to. I think he has it in him and I would never want him to be 'pidgeonholed' as Harm, as in love with Harm as I am. (Sorry, Mac!)!" on 12:31:07 01/25/08 Fri

[> [> [> [> Right back at ya', gigi! I tried to learn Italian with my husband (whose native tongue is NOT English and he is not Italian) and he picked Italian up better than me even though my grandparents were Italian and spoke no English! Watching TV shows with good English (like JAG and other shows our gorgeous DJE is in) is great motivation for you!!! Forget proper lessons! I love Laura Pausini music and movies with Marcello Mastriani, but, they are not as plentiful these days. Why don't you teach DJE Italian and then he can become a huge hearthrob in Italian movies! That'll help me with my Italian! -- mj, 15:38:01 01/25/08 Fri [1]

[> [> [> [> [> Hey, mj! Glad to know about your bond with Italian language and culture! You get it, I was tired of lessons and picked up tv show, with wonderful DJE acting and voicing and forum discussion as well, knowing well that I always make some mistakes, but I don't worry about very much, I usually apologize in advance :). As for to teach Italian to DJE......inside for length, -- gigi - LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, 16:28:42 01/25/08 Fri [1]

your post made me think.....
"Dear DJE,
I'm following a friend's suggestion. What do you think about the possibility to learn Italian? You will receive a warm welcome from us and you'll increase your chances to be seen and asked for tv roles...and referring to that...what about you to play Dave Elson from Florence....OR, not Florence in Italy, even though I think you are more magnifique than Lorenzo, you are too an "American boy and hero".
Sincerily,
gigi"

[> [> [> [> [> [> Fantastico!!!! Would you do this??? I read somewhere that DJE and his wife love Italy and were even thinking of buying a home there, so maybe it's not such a crazy idea to try to contact him and offer to acquaint him with the country, teach him the language, etc. Who knows? You probably would have to go through agents, his PR person, and maybe more people to get his attention, but you never know unless you try? -- mj, 16:55:21 01/25/08 Fri [1]

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> Oh! I have such a plenty of crazyness that I may think to do this for real, but for now I'm just content to be able to laugh about it, thank you, mj :))) -- gigi, 17:18:18 01/25/08 Fri [1]
