Subject: Right back at ya', gigi! I tried to learn Italian with my husband (whose native tongue is NOT English and he is not Italian) and he picked Italian up better than me even though my grandparents were Italian and spoke no English! Watching TV shows with good English (like JAG and other shows our gorgeous DJE is in) is great motivation for you!!! Forget proper lessons! I love Laura Pausini music and movies with Marcello Mastriani, but, they are not as plentiful these days. Why don't you teach DJE Italian and then he can become a huge hearthrob in Italian movies! That'll help me with my Italian!

I read somewhere that DJE and his wife love Italy and were even thinking of buying a home there, so maybe it's not such a crazy idea to try to contact him and offer to acquaint him with the country, teach him the language, etc. Who knows?
