Subject: Am I the only one who watched "The Storm"? Can't say that I like DJE's character, but that man is such a good actor and is still so handsome that I'd watch him in just about anything. I wish they hadn't used a split screen for almost every scene he's in. I wonder why they did that. I thought it was very distracting.

It was easier to see a split screen and have a conversation via phone than just one screen with one sided dialog. Not that thrilled with the movie itself. [> Okay, I watched both parts. I was really disappointed in it all around. At the end of the 1st part is shows the plane going to crash. Then the 2nd part starts and nothing is shown or mentioned about the plane crashing. Also, various other parts, one thing starts to happen - cut to comercial break - come back and you're on to something else. There really wasn't any flow to this show. Plus, I like both DJE and Treat Williams, and they both did play the bad guy pretty well but it isn't a role I like for either of them. Overall I was disappointed in the show. H/e I did see a few minutes of it though and I found that DJE's character seemed more concerned about whether or not this particular machine really was going to work or cause too much collateral damage. To me, that seems more responsible than TW's character who was out for power and glory.
