First off, Cheyenne did not outright win talent and interview; she TIED for BOTH with the second runner up. So yes, both Cheyenne and the Second runner up (cannot recall her name) did well in interview and talent obviously. But the judges must have obviously chose Janae on an overall impression and how they felt like she promoted her platform. More than just a number score picks the winner, and the vote of heart with the top five ballot can really be the deciding factor. Cheyenne did well and nothing takes that away from her. Janae just had that "it" factor the judges were looking for.

In regards to appearances, she plans to come home at the minimum of once a month to do Miss Tri-Cities appearances. Remember, this is a first and foremost SCHOLARSHIP program dedicated to helping women achieve goals.
