] Date Posted: 03:40:28 05/02/15 Sat Author Host/IP: c-71-231-125-83.hsd1.wa.comcast.net/71.231.125.83 After reviewing many of the contestant's talents, interview videos, and meeting some in person, I have chosen my top 10 for both the teen and miss pageants. I encourage everyone to do the same! MWOT (no order) 1. McKenzie Brooks; She has competed 3 (or 4) times and is very talented. She's really like able and seems fun to be around. 2. Abigail Dominguiano; Beautiful voice. Seriously one of the nicest people I've ever met. 3. Keely Franchini; Highly competitive. She has won many awards, especially for dance. 4. Paige Rebstock; she's in good hands. The Tri Cities program has produced winners over and over again. 5. Kennedy Miller; very cute and sweet. I didn't see her talent, but she's ready involved in the community. 6. Sarah Gaskey; Beautiful dancer. Very nice and put together. I would assume she has a wonderful interview as well because she's really involved in leadership programs. 7. Nora Coffelt; stunning girl. Seems very mature for her age. I can see young girls looking up to her. 8. Carisa Wagner; my gut just tells me she has potential. Maybe not top 5, but definitely a competitor. 9. Mataya Giffey; she ROCKED her local title. Especially in her bedazzled crutches. I've seen her perform with her school's color guard team and is great at what she does. 10. Emy Houston; this choice might be a little bias. I know her family pretty well (her cousin is my best friend) and they're all really nice people. I've talked to her a few times and she seems really mature as well. I've heard her talent and interview or so/so, sometimes great sometimes not. We'll just have to see. Top 5 (no order) Keely, Paige, McKenzie, Abigail, and either Sarah or Kennedy. Miss 1. Janae Calaway; Duh. Gorgeous, talented, highly respected, VERY professional, I can't find a reason to not like her. She would be a fantastic Miss WA and a competitor at Miss America for sure. 2. Samantha Brown; Again, she's in good hands on the Miss Tri Cities organization. Having almost a year to prepare, and because she's really talented, I can see her in the Top 5 as well. 3. Cherisse Martinelli; also rocked her local. She was a stand out because of her unique personality. I've been to a few events that she's been at and she's really fun. Her voice is gorgeous as well. 4. Taryn Smith; likeable. Very likeable. I can see her winning her way into the judge's hearts with her personality. 5. Morgan Warren; her voice is amazing. And she also has a wonderful personality. She may be a dark horse that sneaks her way into the Top 10. 6. Megan Mccormick; very very cute. She's always so happy and excited to be involved in the MAO. Her voice is very pretty. 7. Paige Kuhn; she's just one I know is going to be in the Top 10. 8. Connie Morgan; funny and enjoyable. She has a unique look as well, very gorgeous and talented. 9. Brittney Brown; I can tell she's in it to win it. I absolutely love her talent and she's really fun as well. 10. Jacquie Guyette; previous competitor, previous Top 10, her talent is nice. Top 5 (no order) Janae, Samantha, Cherisse, Paige, Morgan. I could possibly see Annika Abbott taking Brittney or Taryn's spot, maybe even Jacquie. But she's a swinger. Opinions?! Amanda Enz - solid talent, incredible personality and a heart of GOLD!!! Would love to see her do well! Joy Davis - she was top 10 last year and truly elegant! You're top 5 is exactly what mine is without Sarah Gaskey...I really think it will come down to Keely, McKenzie, and Abigail. I don't even see Sarah in the Top 10 unfortunately. As for Miss... Lizzi - I feel very confident will make the Top 10. Even the 5 if she is on like she was when she won Miss Rainier. Morgan - I don't see her in the 10. She seems way overwhelmed and as beautiful of a person she is, idk if she will be able to turn it on come competition. Shalese - I feel she will make top 10 and do very well at the pageant. She's very put together, down to earth, and very approachable. Would be happy to see her do well! She has also been known to be anything but gracious and flexible when things don't turn out in her favor. These could no longer be an issue, but all we have to go on at this point are past experiences. I am however very excited to see McKenzie Brooks compete. She did so well last year and is probably the strongest of the returning girls. Yet for all I know one of these new girls could come and blow the show away.
