And why does Kuinn still represent Thurston? I also agree there should be more open titles. Most states have a lot more opens than closed so that the best contestants can be sent. Some places, like county pageants, make sense to stay in their area. But the ones that are not associated with a location could be cool if open. Like West Sound could be for Western WA residents, East Cascades for east, maybe bring back Miss Evergreen from 2013. Just some ideas. Miss Thurston County Kuinn Karaffa can as per MAO rules has to either finished her contract Year. ( Which ends at the end of March) or hold the title till the next Miss Thurston Pageant and not compete in Miss Washington or Open/Sweeper. Kuinn's wonderful reign ends in March or if she chooses to she can extend her reign and in turn not compete. And Yes, there should be more open titles so more young can compete [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
