It is simply to hot, most people wont bring thier race cars, not street cars pretending to be race cars to the lane until probably 730 or 8, and it normally at TXR atleast an hr and a half if not more to get you down the lane. You get back to your pit, let the car cool down, do your maintenance on it or whatever and you get back in the lane....you may get a chance to race, maybe not with the curfew. I hold TXR to a much higher standard than Yello Belly, don't you? Where have we come to, where we are comparing the two tracks? The thing is, you expct that kind of shit at Yello Belly, but not TXR. None of the racers got more than a pass or two at the most on Sundays, and that was if they were out there sweating thier asses off at 4-6 or so, most people wouldn't go to the lane until 6 or later with it being so hot. I know they have a curfew they have to abide by, and that's fine...and I know they were short staffed, but with the number of races they had out there Sunday, they should of been smart enough to know they needed more workers. I don't remember TXR being that packed on Sunday in a while, it was packed. With TXR being the main sponsered track, they probably called and mentioned they were getting slammed on this board, and rightfully so with that crap they have been putting out on Sundays.
