But, your son is young. Probably if he hadn't "dropped a dime" it wouldn't have escalated like it did. While I don't condone the threats, these guys probably were having a little fun at your son's expense and he got them in trouble. When I hear what they used to do to the new guys "for laughs" in my husband's firehouse,I'd cringe, but no one ever got hurt. I may not offer the popular answer here but I think your husband may be right. Maybe this isn't the right line of work for your son?
