Subject: I am an HR manager and I would agree that this is totally inappropriate. I don't care if you are an ex-cop or not. I am sure he was fired from his other job. More

Companies that allow this behavior are asking for a lawsuit. It's called creating a hostile work environment.

He should keep a notebook of dates, times of events and keep every e-mail or letter he has sent to the HR Manager, supervisor or owner making them aware of the situation. He should also try visiting the HR mgr in person to discuss the situation. Unfortunately, he may still not get any resolution to this situation.

That said, I would have him start looking for new job. It can be difficult and a long process to do anything in the courts. It is also not worth his safety and your piece of mind to put up with nonense.
