We had a fabulous time last year,a dn it was a great way to really reconnect with just my brothers, my sister and my parents. We have many family parties, and get together often as a large group, husband/wives kids included. However, I must say, we were all suprised at waht a great times we had last year just the 6 of us. This year, one of the SIL has nixed it, and says its a ridiculous idea, and my brother cannot attend unless husbands/wives are invited as well. I was really looking forward to a great night . Thoughts?
