There is definitely a different tone when all are there. Not a bad tone, just different. I know when we have all run to the hospital when a parent was rushed in, just the time with the siblings is a blessing. We could be ourselves and connect as the family we were growing up. I think it is important to be that person sometimes. Put aside the being mom or wife and go back to being the daughter and sister. For one night, no big deal! I wouldn't mind if my husband did that. Turthfully, I would be relieved!
