The old town as a lot of cute shops and places to eat. It is good for part of a day anyway. If you have a car there is amazingly beautiful countryside around that area and worth a drive. A number of years ago we went horseback riding there and it was wonderful. Not sure about doing it in the summer, but it might be worth a look. Have fun!
