We have had our oak kitchen floor about 28 years. Now needs refinishing. But when we had a flood (water cooler fell over in '89 earthquake), the floor warped some, but then unwarped just fine when it dried out. Someone told us it would do that. So happy with the hardwood, and easier on the legs. It's a lighter, warm, medium reddish brown. Doesn't show dirt in all the oak graining.

  • We have an old house with natural maple floors. We just had them refinished and I love them. I like the fact that they can be restored without tearing it all up. (NT) -- I'll never go back to tile, hate to clean grout!, 16:45:31 07/26/16 Tue
