Dear POI Dancers,
Everyone will need to be at the theater by approximately 6:45 am Saturday.
Please proceed to the dressing rooms (there will be 3 rooms - one for boys, one for black troupe, one for red troupe & guest dancers).
Please touch up your hair and make-up and change into your first costume - then REPORT TO THE WINGS ABSOLUTELY NO LATER THAN 7:10 AM - this means EVERYONE (except Lisa, Madeline and Briana who should be ready by 8:00 am) - NO EXCEPTIONS FOR ANY OTHER DANCERS!!
Be sure you have everything you need for the first act in your basket and bring it with you to the wings . The tech run through for the first number will begin promptly at 7:15 am.
We will run the show in order, dancing each number twice. The first time will be for technical and lighting adjustments, the second time for filming and close-up camera shots. This is why it is so important for everyone to have hair/make-up done and look awake (and smiling) - these close-up shots will become part of the final POI video (no sleepy eyes or bed heads allowed)!!
We know this is an early morning, but we want to be sure there is enough time to do any technical/lighting adjustments as well as the camera close-up video taping. Hopefully things will run very smoothly and the dancers will have a nice long break to have lunch and relax before the 3:00 pm show.
Everyone be sure to get to bed early and double check your alarm clock. It will be an early morning for all, but will also be so much fun (and so worth it when you hear the applause)! You all have worked extremely hard and been very flexible - THANK YOU !!!
