Referee and his daughter were tested by a neurologist at the Purdue University Veterinary Hospital. Both were found to be 100% deaf, and as many people know, expert opinions link the deafness to a genetic condition associated with the Overo coloring.
Referee was a Reserve National Champion and Multiple Top Ten when shown.
