This last weekend ( 8/8-9/08) was my first time at the lodge. I took my two grandsons (9 and 15) up for a pre-start-of-school outing. It was rather warm outside, and the air conditioner had to work extra hard to keep us cool. Other than that, we had a good time at lake Isabella, and touring the area. We live only 80 miles away out on the Mojave Desert, but I get up that way often for work. We saved money by eating in our room. The microwave, refrigerator, and plates came in mighty handy. Very nice room! Very neat and clean grounds. We'll be back again.
