The kids would probably enjoy the island cow restaurant on sanibel and you all might enjoy the bubble room on captiva. Also doc fords is a great restaurant. For more seafood dinners I would suggest the green flash on captiva and the timbers on sanibel. Also for sunsets go to the mucky duck on captiva.

A boat ride leaving from either sanibel marina or captiva would be fun, there will be a lot of booklets in the front of jerrys supermarket and you can get ideas from there as to which boat ride you would like to take.
