Subject: Holiday Inn

We are thinking of visiting Sanibel this August for the first time with our 1 year old. To be safe, we were thinking of the Holiday Inn there. Any comments about it- is it better to look for a place to stay on west drive rather than near the causeway? We like peace, quiet, great shelling and easy dining out ( no cooking in :o) and low rates. Would be greatful for any tips and advice about the trip. Thanks for your opinions!
