Unfortunately, I will not be too much help. I stayed at the Sundial in 2002 and at the Holiday Inn in 2004. I would have preferred the Sundial but due to Charley that was a no go. The Holiday Inn was okay. I would probably stay there again too if push came to shove. I am looking forward to seeing the renovations at the Sundial. At least at the main portion of the resort and restaurants.
