Tina, we did the same thing about 3 years ago. We surprised the kids with a trip to Sanibel in September. Of course, they had to miss a week of school and we took homework with us (arranged with the teacher, in secret) - won't do that again! Yes, encourage her to get her project done before the break. But, it was absolutely great to see the excitement on their faces the morning we woke them to catch the plane! Hope you guys have a great first time trip to Sanibel. Five weeks & counting - Wow, that will pass fast!
