Hi Kim, I'm "new" to the board, stumbled upon it in my quest for Sanibel info while you were away in paradise!

Just had to tell you, I LOVED your report, from the beginning to the end. I live in Charleston, WV, and stopping at the Tamarack for breakfast on our vacations is a family ritual.

Sorry about your hubby's head-on collision with the deer. Been there/done that, I guess just part of living in the hills of WV! Once we actually had a deer run into US while driving west on route 50, between Clarksburg and Parkersburg.

The choppy boat ride you experienced makes me think I may not do any outer island excursions! I get motion sickness fairly easily, as do two out of three of my kids. :-(

We'll be making our first trek into paradise on Christmas Day. Hubby and I can't wait!!!!!!
