Hello Chris,
As the Sloth correctly pointed out in his reply, these films are mostly trashy horror, exploitation, zombie-related, gory, soft-core sex slashers which were banned in the UK for various reasons (the biggest loser was "The House On The Edge Of The Park" which had some 12 minutes cut from it, and even today is still heavily censored on DVD in the UK).
Now before anyone out there starts to think I am a raving lunatic bordering on an imoral sex pervert watching these films, I would like to say this was all Tony's idea!!! (but one I fully support).
The idea of covering these films is for artistic purposes only, and it allows us to proudly show their screencapping them in such a way that their legacy will remain forever on this site. Some may not like the tone of the films, whereas others may encourage their promotion on this website, but we at Aveleyman strive to honour the front page banner of trying to display as many possible individuals from as many possible movies ever made.
I have received a request to cover "Xtro" (1983) next.
If I had to pick my top 3 from the list I suppose The Evil Dead would be in there, along with The Burning and Zombie Flesh Eaters.
