Let me try and clear some things up here:
The scene with Hutch is the moment they set the plane down in Lerner Airfield. They have crash-landed and narrowly avoided hitting the propane tank. Then as everyone is leaving the plane Malkovich walks back in, looks at Buscemi, then looks down at Hutchison, then looks back at Buscemi and says "feel better now?"

I have today changed the screenshot from one slightly earlier in the film (when he was seen alive). This is seen at 58:51 just after Cage/Buscemi are chatting and Mykelti Williamson whispers to Cage "What's wrong with him?" and Cage replies "My first thought would be...a lot". Then Buscemi smiles and looks down at the wounded Hutchison.

And as for saying THANKYOU, I was joking, I know you said thankyou!!!
