 OK, all my life experiences tell me otherwise, so we'll agree to disagree. I think if one's own family seeing one undressed is enough to prompt drug use and other pathologies, then there is some other general reason why such a trivial thing was able to cause those pathologies--perhaps an overly harsh enforcement of modesty in other circumstances, which my family certainly had. Modesty is fine in its proper degree and with strangers. But I find it simply weird to talk about immediate family members as though they were strangers.
