Thank you very much Keisha for your advice! You have made some fine suggestions. Now to answer some of your questions:
Her grandmother is up there in age and in rather poor health, so she might give her a swat or two, but she would not be able to handle administering a proper spanking. Her aunt is not around often enough, but she could spank my daughter the few times when my daughter stays over at her house.
Yes I agree that bare bottom bedtime spankings with her PJs down are indeed very effective! As far as how I spank: I am a pretty big man, 6'3", and I administer long and vigorous hand spankings. And for very serious offences, I'll finish off the spanking with a few from a large old-fashioned wooden hairbrush, which was given to me by my mother-in-law, which she actually used to use on my late wife when she was a teenager.
As far as crying: My daughter cries a lot. She is more than a bit of an actress. The put-on tears start right away, even before I have pulled down her PJs or panties, but I can tell when they finally become sincere. But even then I do not stop at that point. I do not believe in stopping until I finally see a certain shade redness! I also believe in taking my time. I think that the longer a spanking takes, the worse it appears!!!
After a spanking, she will indeed behave very respectful for a long time afterwards, so I believe that the spankings do work. I guess that I just thought that the older my daughters became, the less I would have to spank, but that does not seem to be the case, at least at this point!
