Incarceration rates in the United States stem from three primary factors:
* Modern prisons began as an American experiment to find a middle ground between a slap on the wrist and a hanging.
* Reconstruction era prisons were used to control newly freed black slaves. That trend was predicted before the American Civil War and continues to this day.
* The war on drugs and tougher sentencing produced an incapacitation model that likewise continues.
As an alternative, we could follow China's example. They execute about 8,000 people each year. That would certainly be cheaper than building prisons and housing inmates if families of the excited were forced to pay for the bullets!
Meanwhile, the laws of men come and laws of men go. So do the governments established by them. Percy Bysshe Shelley's "Ozymandias" offers an excellent insight into this phenomenon.
If you wish to revert all Biblical laws, we could return to slavery. It is condoned by the Old Testament and not forbidden by the New Testament. Then, there is the status of women. In this regard, I am unaware of any Bible verses saying that girls should be taught to read and write, much less go to school. From a purely biblical perspective, I am aware that girls are to grow up to produce children and be obedient to their husbands. Even divorce is frowned upon.
Concerning nudity, Leviticus 18:12 says, "Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister: she is thy father's near kinswoman." On my family tree, my "father's sister" would be my aunt. Last time I checked, I wasn't responsible for raising her. Then, given the crazy structure of today's families, who knows?
Since you are Asian, then you should be acutely aware that there are vast differences between Eastern and Western cultures. Much of what parents on both sides of the globe do reflect tradition rather than obedience to holy writ. Spanking of the bare behind is one of those traditions. It is not likely to disappear.
As I write, British schools may be on the verge of reinstituting corporeal punishment to keep their schools from also turning into circuses.
