 I can only imagine what it would be like if my wife didn't support me in the discipline I provide my daughter. Your choice is to either defy your wife's wishes for the good of your daughters or give in to your wife and risk not providing the discipline your daughters need.

Since your oldest daughter is 16, you can try punishing her with something other than spanking. The risk is greater if you don't spank your younger daughter.
