I am infamous in my family for pushing the holiday seasons on everyone a little too soon, and since they are all now sick to death of me.....I shall now do it to my Pageant Central family!

I want to know 2 things you are THANKFUL for this year:

One thing you are thankful for in your personal life, and

One thing you are thankful for, pertaining to the pageant world.

Next week.........a few posts about Christmas!

ha ha, just kidding.

Maybe.

[> Subject: I am thankful to be gainfully employed and blessed with outstanding benefits at a perilous time in the American economy. From a pageantry perspective, I am thankful that legal advisers are encouraging Carrie Prejean to suspend her book tour and other public appearances. Your 15 minutes are seriously about up, trick!

[> Subject: I am thankful for Indy, who has made me not feel so guilty about wanting to put my Christmas tree up already. Seriously, is there anything wrong with loving the Holidays? I went to an event this evening, and it was all decorated for Christmas. Tomorrow, I am putting my tree up. And to echo Marylander, who is a dear friend of mine, I am also grateful for a wonderful job which I love, great benefits and good pay which enable me to enjoy many of my hobbies, of which one if pageantry.

[> Subject: I am thankful to have a wonderful husband who understands my sudden (and recent) pageant obsession, and is willing to grab on and hold on for the ride. I'm also thankful to have just been named to the Board of Miss IN (MAO), and am looking fwd to my first trip to Miss A in Vegas -- and looking forward to meeting some of my new PC friends (Miss Merlin, TNBoy - and anyone else who might be there) in person! Most of all, I'm sooooo thankful to finally have an MAO winner, after all these years! May God bless Katie Stam!!

[> Subject: This year I am thankful our oldest child passed drivers education without running down one single pedestrian, and our youngest breezed through kindergarten and actually enjoyed it! He then stated: "I would like to try first grade, if that's okay with you guys" (hard to keep a straight face on that one!). Pageant-wise, I am thankful that Miss USA did not fall down at Miss Universe!
