 What the hell do you think Unit Teams used to do? Inmates would send requests all the time to Unit Managers requesting cell changes. Sometimes they would grant them and sometimes they wouldn't. It sounds like they're doing it pro-actively this time. Also, OCCC was used like SBCC before there was an SBCC. They added many double bunks to OCCC and guess what...no blood bath. We got rid of tobacco and guess what...no blood bath. They got rid of all the personal inmate clothing and put them in scrubs and guess what...no blood bath. They closed SECC and sent 1200 inmates around the state and guess what...no blood bath. The inmates will comply, the CO's will yell "the sky is falling" and nothing will happen! Stay safe and keep your heads up!
