Subject: Question

What is the dumbest comment you have ever gotten from a judge?
For example, I once saw a ten year old get the comment from a judge for swimsuit that she should have some props and put on more of a little show.
She's up there to model, not ENTERTAIN you! What do you want her to do sing and dance in her swimsuit?!

My dd's score sheet from the last pageant was "Need different dress. Not good fit. Love the colors though." The other judge wrote, "good fit, like the design. would like to see brighter colors though." So, there ya go. LOL!

She told us...your dd has everything, the look and moves. Great dress and perfect modeling (according to judges score sheet), however they couldn't hear her introduction (10% of total score). This was after they realized the microphone hadn't been turned on for the first 5 girls (dd was first).

[> [> How about comment on photogs "Not your dd's true eye color".. She was four and has the biggest brown eyes there is! -- That judge ate his words after that pageant. DUMBASS!, 11:30:09 02/12/07 Mon [1]

OK in defense of the judge, it is extremely hard to judge photo's. Mom's submit 15 - 20 headshots. And basically everything is fake. eyes, nose, eye color, lashs even cheek bones. the photo's I have judged for systems almost NEVER look like the child on stage.

[> Re: I know exactly who that was and what pageant it happened at, The mom showed us and complained about it. One judges comment out of 8 or 10 judges. I doubt that one comment affected your score that bad. -- No name, 19:26:58 02/16/07 Fri [1]
