one day MJ approached to jen and said jen kumusta naman kamo sa choir...(plastikan)then jen replied..ok ra japun oi MJ uman wla naman ka sa choir? later MJ responce "na nasuko man gani si sister sa cemyc kay ngano ila ako gipa-iwat"....jen answered wat? sure ka MJ???? MG RESPONCE...kng ako jaon cla isumbong kang sister mabuyag lage ang cemyc.. isumbong naku ang ila mga binuhatan, mga choir pa jaon,ma-inom inom... sos pinakalagutan gajud naku c connie jen grabeh ija pandaot-daot sa ako..jen kabalo kaw hamok ako plano sa choir ...tana para sa ila man tana katong mga papel na ako gipapirmahan kang sister...kaso ila ako gipaiwat sa choir,abir sab cla...

mga kasawaing pa gajud nanganta sa church adtong sa ako lolo..ingon c antie wlay praktce practice tapos, nagpabayad pa...

I just drop by the website and i was amaze on the latest issue on the site. It's quite disgusting to have that kind of argument, since the group is for God. Please be Reminded that you are serving God not pleasing people.May i share my insigths on the issue about the liquor drinking, mj has apoint on that however, her allegations are very axaggerating,mj is part of the circle before, therefore she was also able to join with that social parties. drinking liquor is part of social gatherings but harsh thing will happen if this will be abused.

To: MJ---- God is watching you, remember that always. if you are telling the truth, God will provide.but if you are telling a lie, YOU ARE DEFINETELY A ANGEL FROM HELL.im sorry to tell you that. please serve God, there is no rivalry to God. if you are hurt never make any gossips, do what God wanted you to do.Be CAREFUL on your words because it will reflect your disposition.

hi MG i knw kabalo ako na gusto jud ka mobalik sa choir kaso hamok imo atraso mao na mahadlok ka mobalik... kabalo me tanan kng unsa ang imo pandaot-daot sa choir kung pwede itaklom na lng jaon imo baba para dili na madungagan imo mga sala... sanan kung puwede ayaw daota ang choir infront ni sister.. as your big bro. mas maau kung mangayo na lng ka ug sorry sa mga membro labaw na adtong tagkalagutan nimo... WE KNOW THAT SOME OF CEMYC MEMBERS ARE OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING...DRINKING LIQUIORS, AND HAVING GIMICK WITH THE GROUP ARE NATURAL BUT...

Argumentative Points for Consideration:

1.Bad Influence - People in this choir who are old enough and has resources for the so called inum inum. This people knows the right thing and right situation.

This people never in anyway entice "members of minor age" or "member with families of strict background". Sila pa gali mg pauli og mg sagda!

The sad thing is that some of this Members like M J LIED to our senior members!

If CEMYC is really bad as what you think hunahunaa ninyo? Si ma'am tata, ate bebe, c mark villazon, og other members with integrity. Masipog mo sa ila! Masipog mo sa ato Organist... Usually ng ng hatag negative comment mao ra bay parsite sa choir!

2.Report sa Parish Council - Pg sure mo oi asi kamo ma sipgan! CEMYC dnt need people like you! if your not happy then go! Insecure lang mo.

If prior investigation be conducted to this matter is to be
conducted I would formostly volunteer for such... Makalagot jud nang mga buang na takataka lng og negative publicity para makakuha ng attention... basi wala pa na contented sa mga laki sa choir og sa Semenarians? Mao ba MJ...

All you people who are trying to throw mud unto CEMYC MASIPOG MO! SAWAING KAMO! UR NOT EVEN HALF A HUMAN! Yes the choir myt have some credulities same as to any organization... but its not for you to judge you sickled-minded people. This choir has existed before us and its very foundation were meant for good things for people who needs guidance and divine providence. Yes! naa man jud ng inum bt reflect on yourselves what are the very foundation of our gathering and brotherhood!
Kamo mismo maka justify unsay inyo tinood na rason kung mo dawat man mo sa tagay. Dnt blaim the choir over ur laim damm excuses and faults. U old enaf! Pg Dicidir daw mo! Haman in u alimpatakan! Masipog mo og Mabotokan mo tana. Listo lng mo judge tuda raba mangaon pg naay libre lupig pa patay gutom ninyo...

Music is an extremely important part of the liturgy , and as such, we have seven different choirs of Surigao City Cathedral from which parishioners may choose to participate namely Cantate Domino, Dawn Choir, Single for Christ, El Shaddai, Lovelight Choir, Good Shepherd Covenant Choir, Cathedral Youth Choir and Cathedral English Mass Youth Choir (CEMYC)..

The Cathedral English Mass Youth Choir (CEMYC) sings at the 6:15 p.m. Sunday Mass. The liturgy and music for the Mass are geared toward the teens and young adults. Performing liturgical and contemporary praise music with piano or organ, the choir rehearses at 7:30 p.m. every Friday in the City Cathedral Parish Hall.. The Cathedral English Mass Youth Choir (CEMYC) welcomes new members, especially teens and young adults. Whether a singer or instrumentalist, there’s a place for you. To learn more about singing with the CEMYC, please contact Beth Pedraya contact number: 09208066662.

New members are always welcome. While musical training and experience are helpful, the desire to sing is paramount. Rehearsals are Friday evenings with a short warm-up period on Sunday afternoon. Contact Yuyu Guzman, CEMYC director of music and organist for more information.

Members are introduced to traditional liturgical music, and are taught the basics of choral singing, but most important of all...it is FUN! It is also a wonderful opportunity for those who wish to join to make friends within their parish beyond the limits of their own school and age level. Conflicts by members are rare and can be resolved. Singing in a church choir is also a great supplement as past time and way of releasing tension from stresses of life.

Everyone who love to sing are welcome to join the Catheral English mass Youth Choir (CEMYC)
