Thanks for the links. I was a member of Ancestry.com up to July or August of last year and will probably join up again in the coming months. I have an ancestry site at http://www.deelsidepainters.com/genealogy and my interest in my Uncles Merchant Navy days are a big part of that. There are another couple of Patrick Horrigan's in my earlier generations that did emigrate someplace and haven't been located yet. As soon as I have my Uncle sorted out I'll get back to that search.
