You go to see a psychiatrist to work things out. A year later, there's a series of break ins in your neighborhood. You go to a gun store to buy some protection. The clerk does a check. "I'm sorry, sir. I see you went to a psychiatrist last year. We can't sell you a gun." That's unconstitutional!
