You state you would have done the same thing, that's all this is about. According to the 911 tapes, the father also agrees with you that the man shouldn't have died. Certainly his pleas for dispatch to find the ranch and his statement he would drive the man to the hospital himself support the argument that was no an unjust extended beating. He stopped the attack on his daughter the way any father worth his salt would have. You, me, Fred, we all would do the same, and I agree with the authorities decision not to prosecute. The case is not the same as killing a man because your wife is cheating on you, which is merely a crime of passion!
