I just want corporations to pay employees a fair wage, not a contrived agreed upon wage that limits their income. Two cybersecurity engineers may hold the same job title but be worth a great deal of difference in their pay.

Companies pay by the job and its duties, not by how capably its employees perform in those duties. And if you are not being challenged, it is up to you to move to another job or firm if you seek more income to match your skills. If companies conspire to keep employees locked in, those employees lose money and opportunity.

This is why unions are needed to give employees the bargaining power necessary to obtain a fair wage.
