The "Let's stop the carnage" bill would probably have a better chance if they kept it to driving issues, and then addressed employers and landlords with a separate piece of legislation.

Interesting, both Democrats and Republicans sponsored the bill.

The article also raised the point that Massachusetts is in relatively decent shape when it comes to illegals. Another reason, along with unemployment, education, average salary and real estate values, that the region is ahead most of the country!
