Even though the company took no money from the city or state, and as a small business looks to hire additional staff, it will be viewed as green." Therefor, the select three of the board will applaud and snicker if the company fails. If it succeeds, no mention will be made and the credit will go to the next Republican governor or president.
Personally, I think we should be giving more taxpayer subsidies to the six largest oil companies. Their profit margin has been suffereing during these tough times, and they need a little more corporate welfare!
