At what expense? I just don't see how the heterosexual family dissolves due to the inclusion of homosexual families. I am missing that part of the puzzle. What affect does homosexual families have on heterosexual families that cause heterosexuals such dismay and dissolution. Will it mass suicide for the heterosexuals? Will they be unable to cope? Will society crumble? I think not.

And that would be the good old "separate but equal" doctrine Yes? We had that, separate but equal” applied to railroad cars, but also schools, voting rights, and drinking fountains. Segregated schools were created for students, as long as they followed, “separate but equal”.

How does that deprive homosexuals? You tell me. If they called yours civil unions and their marriage would that be ok? I think they want what you got. Marriage in a church with all the trimmin's of family blessings and a honeymoon. And respect.

Now I agree with all this stuff:
The State has been way out of line for a long time. Corporate interests and subversive interests have become the State and have abused the State's power against THE PEOPLE. Licensing marriage, guns, drivers licenses is a real infringement on RIGHTS and a violation of the Constitution. The State is monster out of control who is destroying and deconstructing everything for economy, to family, to industry, to the Constitution itself.

But lets not blame gay people for that. They are just using the state rules as you do to gain legal access to benefits. I think you should blame our politicians and the political system as they play us for fools while both sides rob our treasury. Playing immigrants or gays or minorities as scapegoats are the tools of politicians IMO.
