Here’s the latest on Lamebrain Liz: So yesterday she starts screaming about how Sen. Scott Brown absolutely must release 20 years of his tax returns. “He’s been in public service for 20 years, then he should have 20 years of tax returns,” Warren demanded.
But it turns out Liz Warren has only released four years of her tax records, while Sen. Brown has released six years of his. So when the Boston Globe-Democrat asked her about her demand for more tax records this morning, her campaign completely flip-flopped.
“Both Elizabeth and Senator Brown have released multiple years of tax returns that she believes give voters an understanding of each candidate’s financial circumstances,” her flak told the paper.
So how stupid is it to demand your opponent release his tax records when he’s already released more than you have? I ran campaigns for state legislature with candidates smarter than this.
It is coming increasingly clear that Liz Warren is an inept, out-of-touch egghead, devoid of the most basic common sense, who will clueless step in front of a camera and say whatever stupid thing her campaign staff tells her to.
