Thanks man, what it means to me, is that the body politic has lost it's respect for the vote of the American people. Even though the people's mandate is given with an election, and that vote deserves respect for new policy, it isn't being given any longer.

The futility is frustrating. In 2000 we had to go to the SJC to decide who was actually elected president, Gore or Bush.

When Obama is reelected, he will still face a 60 vote Republican filibuster in the Senate more deeply entrenched in partisanship than ever before. And we are even seeing Republicans funding the demise of their own cohorts in neighboring states to remove moderates like Dick Lugar despite his experience. Any teaparty hack will do.

All I hear is fight fight fight for this and fight for that.
I want to see them get America's many problems fixed, not to fight.
