I just wanted to let you know that I will not be holding a pageant in Maine in 2009 and am not moving forward as the director for Maine after this year. My cookie business at www.mainecookiecompany.com has taken off so much that I need to focus on that to keep up with orders. I also have a new wonderful job since Nov 07 at Dow Investment Group (www.dows.com).
I am with Kristin Walton 1 million percent of the way and am the director until her reign is over.

It costs around $2,000 per year for the director fee and the national queen sends in her entry fee of around $1,800 as well or the pageant held pays that as well. The airfare is not paid by nationals, but hotel and food both are.
